A few years ago when I was in Atlanta, I lived on the top floor of an apartment building and had a large balcony off the living room, which I often used for laying out in the sun. There was an identical apartment building next to mine, with a balcony facing me at the same level about 10 or 15 yards away. Because of the depth of the balconies, the way the buildings were designed, and the fact that the balconies had solid side walls but only slim bars across the front, no one could see what went on in the balcony except from the balcony that directly faced it on the other building. One sunny summer afternoon I looked out my living room windows and noticed that a guy was soaking up some rays on the balcony across from me. I hadn't seen him before and decided to take a closer look. He appeared to be in his mid- to latetwenties, with a firm and attractive body, but he was certainly no bodybuilder. He was laying on an air mattress wearing one of those ugly boxer-type swimsuits and he had on sunglasses. I didn't have anything else planned for the afternoon and I needed some sun, so I put on a thong (I have sort of a thing for skimpy swimsuits and underwear) and went out to the balcony. I turned the long chaise lounge to face my neighbor and spread out my beach towel. I laid down on my back, propped up the back of the chair a bit, and started to read. Every few pages I'd glance up to see what my neighbor was doing. He didn't appear to be doing anything but laying in the sun. After about 30 minutes, he got up and went inside. I thought that was the end of it but he came back a few minutes later and sat down on the edge of the air mattress facing me. He didn't do anything but sit there looking in my direction. I decided to up the ante and flipped over onto my stomach, showing my bare butt (which was very firm and tan). Because my feet were facing his direction, I couldn't really watch him to see what his reaction was, but I could tell he hadn't moved. I settled in for some sun and after about five minutes, I noticed him get up and leave. Now I was positive that was the end of it. Nevertheless, I turned my lounge parallel to his balcony so I would have a better view of him just in case he returned. About 10 minutes later, he reappeared with a towel wrapped around his waist and very warily stepped out onto his balcony. He sat down again on the edge of his air mattress facing me but he kept looking around him and fidgeting...
