About the Author
Robert H. Kim, MSCE, PE, is a design engineering consultant for BKLB, Inc., with extensive experience in the design, research and construction of timber structures. Jai B. Kim, PhD, is a professor and chairman of the Civil Engineering Department at Bucknell University and has many years of design, research, and teaching experience. Both authors have published widely in the field of civil engineering.
