Life, family, love, tears, legacies, and storytelling are just some of the arenas for poetry. A good poet, a good storyteller, a good actor has to make you feel what he or she feels. A good poet does not just tell his or her own story, but endeavors the task of telling his story, her story, your story, and everyone's story.

Everyday, we have to believe that today will be better than yesterday and better than the day before. We cannot change yesterday. We may not be here tomorrow. So today, right now, right this moment, I will try to walk a little slower, so life does not pass me by. And, I will try to sit a little looser, so as not to be weighed with anxieties of life. We have to foster our hope, our spirt, and our motivation as a person, as a family, and as a village. In such, our goals will --can become our realities.
