This is the first volume of a two-volume, grammatically-technical commentary (or systematic theology) of key categories of doctrine. These categories have been developed and substantiated solely by Scripture.
Volume I covers Facet One: doctrines concerning the relationship between a believer and the Godhead as a Believer-Priest.
Volume II (to be published later) will cover the other four facets of the balanced Christian life:

This is the first volume of FBR's latest seminary-level textbooks on the Five Facets of the Balanced Christian Life. Together they cover five, distinct aspects of the multiple relationships and roles of the Christian as they are defined in Scripture.
It is FBR's belief that much of the division existing in the Church today results from a lack of knowledge about these distinct aspects and/or an imbalance in their practice.
The Foundation for Biblical Research is the ministry of J. Richard and Virginia Fugate. Mr. Fugate personally accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized into the Body of Christ at Reinhardt Bible Church in Garland, Texas in 1968. He and his family attended various independent Bible churches in Dallas, Austin, Phoenix, and Sacramento over the years.
After committing himself in 1971 to serve God anywhere, or in any manner he might be called, Mr. Fugate learned Greek and studied thousands of hours in the original languages of the Old and New Testament. He did not rely on existing systematic Theologies or Bible commentaries being convinced that he needed to perform his own exegesis and word studies to develop doctrines that were substantiated by Scripture alone. He founded the Foundation for Biblical Research (FBR) in 1979 "to determine the one true meaning of Scripture based on honest research and a scientifically-sound system of hermeneutics." All of Mr. and Mrs. Fugate's books are based on that research
Mr. Fugate was called to be Business Manager of A.C.E. in 1971 and the Fugate's were led to start a Christian school based on their experience of home schooling their own three children for two previous years. During the 70's, Mr. Fugate wrote What the Bible Says About Child Training, presented parenting seminars in hundreds of churches, and directed the work of FBR. In 1982 he was hired as Chief Executive Officer of A.O.P. and served there for 12 years. He also wrote three books on home schooling and was a Keynote Speaker at over 40 State homeschool conventions during the movement's beginning. Mr. Fugate then served as Business Manager of Family Ministries from 2000-2004.
He is currently functioning again as full-time Director of the Foundation for Biblical Research in Arizona and continues to teach and write on Bible-Based Theology. He has also served as an Elder in his church, In The Word Bible Fellowship, in Mesa, Arizona
