About the Author
Since he began in the soft furnishings business in 1976 as a drapery installer, Charles Randall has become a best-selling author and the world’s leading authority on window treatments. After a successful sales career he started a window decorating and manufacturing company and to date, Charles has decorated more than 60,000 Southern California windows. In 1987, he revolutionized the interior design world, writing The Encyclopedia of Window Fashions, a comprehensive book on window decorating that has sold more than one million copies and become an international bestseller.
Originally trained in fashion design, Sharon Templeton applies the same principles of proportion, balance and color to interior design. The drapery workroom, Drapes and More, which she operates in Canada is renowned for its unique designs and outstanding quality of workmanship. Sharon’s first publication, The Designer’s Guide to Draperies and Soft Furnishings, was an inspirational manual for interior designers and decorators and with this second book, Sharon’s desire was to share some of the beautiful designs that have garnered her a reputation as an authority of exceptional caliber.
