About the Author:

Hoyt L. Barber and Harry L. Barber are a father-son writing team. Hoyt is an international financial consultant. He has also written Tax Freedom; How to Incorporate Your Business in Any State from Tab Books; Tax Havens: How to Bank, Invest and Do Business Offshore and Tax-Free (McGraw-Hill); and Protect Your Intellectual Property: An International Guide to Patents, Copyrights and Trademarks (Productive Publications). Harry is now retired after having enjoyed a long career in advertising and public relations, and is the author of How to Steal a Million in Free Publicity.

"This vehicle was used in the film Goldfinger with custom body by Parker & Company, Ltd., London, twelve-cylinder dual ignition and 7.4 litre engine finished in yellow and black. The automobile was custom-built for the Rt. Hon. Lord Fairhaven, Anglesey Abbey, Cambridge, England. The car was owned by him until 1962, when it was purchased by Eon Productions for the movie Goldfinger. On the folding desk in the rear seat of this vehicle, Goldfinger wrote a check to James Bond after the memorable golf match. This machine was sold by Sotheby's on June 28, 1986, to Steven Greenburg, co-owner of the new York Palladium, for $121,000." marketing/FACTs
