This book consists of a series of 46 short laboratory investigations using the TI-83 Plus, the TI-83 or the TI-82 graphing calculator. These mini-labs span the topics normally covered in Intermediate and College Algebra courses. They are designed to take between 30 and 60 minutes to complete. Many of the mini-labs emphasize the experimental method, proceeding from collecting data to forming a hypothesis and concluding with a generalization. When the calculator is needed the required keystrokes are shown. Mini-Lab 0 familiarizes the user with the keyboard. Other features of the calculator are introduced as needed to investigate a given problem.
