From the Inside Flap:

" Mike's writing is down to earth and backed by years of experience in dealing with young people. His columns to students and parents answered so many of the typical questions we all have had. The answers are neither preachy nor patronizing, rather they allow the reader to explore feelings, values and consequences." Terri Houck, Director of Publications and Governmental Relations Pennsylvania Associations of Elementary and Secondary School Principals

For young people looking for understanding and sound judgment, 'Hey Mr. McRay' offers a calm, friendly, and unobtrusive voice of advice." Peter S. Cookson, Athabasca University, Canada
