In 1976 the author graduated from Lotus Lodge, a Wholistic retreat in Strasburg, OH, taking various modalities: massage, iridology, nutrition, color therapy, etc. In the summer of 1979 and 1980 she attended classes at the Healing Light Center in Glendale, CA with Roslyn Bruyer and studied Aura Balancing, energy modalities, etc. In 1980 and 1981 she took a 6-month class on Touch for Healthİ Textbook by John F. Thie, D.C. in Boulder, CO. This included muscle testing, meridians and oriental philosophy. She became a member of the AMTA in February 1986, (*graduated under a previous married name) and has continued her studies and creates various tests for students in order to help them pass massage certification exams. In 1989 and 1990 she attended a few workshops at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver, CO. These classes were for gaining knowledge and not for any credit toward a degree. She also studied ANMA, the art of Japanese Massage in Boulder, CO, not for credit but for additional knowledge. During 1980 she took classes in hypnosis in Denver, CO, and became a hypnotherapist in 1981 utilizing this for past life regressions. She continues updating her Massage Exam study guides each year and this is the new 2011 Edition.Review:

Both books are excellent for massage students. I ordered both some time ago and passed both exams. The MBLEX study guide is on there web site mblex study guide and you can order that one now for $13.95. The price was reduced this year so our school told us. We use her study guides in our classes.
