This is the second student manual written in a series about Intel’s LANDesk Management Suite Product. LANDesk Applied Software Distribution is a manual dedicated to gaining the knowledge of how to distribute software to client machine in a networked environment from a single source. The book is designed for use after the product has been installed and deployed, and the individual understands the Essentials of running LANDesk.
This manual was written to be a student guide in the Instructor led courses offered by TriTech Educational Services, Inc. However, due to popular demand we have decided to sell the books in an effort to help those who would prefer to self study the product.

There is actually a team of courseware developers who would qualify as “Author”. However Barbara S. Josephson would be the project lead and also be the head author. Barbara would have not been able to succeed in the development of this material if it were not for the efforts of, Brian K. Mason and Melissa Morin.
Barbara Josephson has been working with LANDesk since early 1995 when she developed her first training program centered on LANDesk. Barbara has been in the MIS/IT world since the Late 80’s where she was one of the most highly certified instructors for Novel and Microsoft product lines. Barbara has continued her efforts to help the MIS/IT world grow at a rapid pace through quality information exchange and training.
