Note to Teachers: EARLY BEGINNER is for young singers (6-9) who have no musical experience or instruction. Students who have introductory choral, classroom or instrumental music may be better suited to start with the Level One Workbook. The music theory in this book provides a general overview to assist the understanding of the weekly lessons. For more comprehensive theory assignments students should complete the EARLY BEGINNGER THEORY BOOK.
Note to Parents: Successful Music lessons require open communications between the parent, student and teacher. The FVWS has many performance assessments, unit reviews and graded music tests which allow parents to monitor their student's progress and support the efforts of the teacher and student.
