Anne MacLeod was born in Aberfeldy in 1951 and now lives on the Black Isle with her husband and children. Her short stories have been widely anthologised and read on the radio, and her poetry has been shortlisted for the Saltire Award. She studied medicine at The University of Aberdeen and is currently a practising dermatologist.
