The Forgotten Ones, Land Of The Wolves is the first of a series set in different time zones throughout history. The first volume, Land Of The Wolves follows an American college graduate student, Mary Finlay who discovers the existence of werewolves in post World War I Ireland. It is an introduction to the saga and to characters found to be wholly rich in historical culture, blending times throughout history that were hard for the population of the country with myth and folklore. The story is set in 1936 in the country of Ireland during its time of recovery following historical events, including the death of IRA General, Michael Collins and the aftermath of the English in the heart of the land. Mary is the central character that has completed her six-year degree in medical science and receives a work placement to Galway University and moves from her home in Boston to Ireland her home country, but before moving to Galway she travels to Bansha, in County Tipperary so that she may visit her great aunt Mary. Young Mary finds herself entwined in an epic adventure taking her beyond her own understanding of the very depths of involvement in a twisted underworld of deceit, pride, rage and broken loyalties, with werewolf packs, and the oldest legend of them all who may just have plans for young Mary that far supersede anybody else's comprehension. These plans, if exacted, could change the very course of history, forever.
