Michael Hill is the founder and managing director of complaintsrgreat.com, a company he set up in 2000 to champion the benefits of effective complaint management. Michael has given talks around the world on the benefits of designing and implementing effective customer feedback management processes. He has also written several articles on breaking down the barriers to complaining, business-to-business complaints and how companies can benefit from well-handled complaints. Michael's expertise and knowledge of complaint handling stems from previous career paths as a successful complaint investigator, front-line housing officer; and IT help desk adviser in financial and local government sectors. H e has worked with many organisations, reviewing customer feedback processes, conducting research, auditing feedback schemes, providing independent investigations of problematic cases and advising organisations deploying business-wide customer feedback management software.
