Johnny Castellano was born with a very enviable talent; he can have any woman he wants, without even trying. Working in one of London’s most prestigious law firms and earning a ridiculous amount of money, the handsome twenty-nine year old cares about only one thing: himself. He’s a chauvinist pig, a sex-addict, a womaniser, a homophobe and a self-centred ego maniac that gets what he wants when he wants it. But his luck is about to change. Having vacuumed a delirious amount of cocaine and drank himself stupid, Johnny agrees to go to a special party with one of his colleagues. After taking a long cab ride to the countryside, Johnny is lured into an abandoned slaughterhouse, where the occupants are all forced to wear animal masks to remain anonymous from one another. Soon, the soiree turns into a bizarre orgy involving sadistic acts of sexual depravity, and Johnny is led to a dark corner by a mysterious and seductive woman. Although he can’t see her face, she’s got a body to die for. But this is no ordinary encounter, mind you. He literally feels the earth move. Waking up in bed the next day, distraught from a terrible coke comedown, Johnny soon realises something is drastically wrong. It begins with ghastly hallucinations, voices whispering obscenities, and vivid dreams of phallic monsters. As time goes on, the torment increases, until Johnny is no longer able to sleep or function properly. With his life crumbling and his sordid past coming back to haunt him, Johnny soon learns that someone has placed a curse on him, a curse specifically designed to drive him insane and attack the one thing he holds dearest – his sex drive. But who would want to put a curse on Johnny? Or more importantly, which one of his ex flings would hate him enough to do something so drastic? The list is long, and Johnny’s time is short... *Contains adult content and not suitable for younger readers
