His students' marks rank consistently with the highest in the country. The notes used to at- tain these marks form the basis of this book. Yitzchok Sliw was born in Leeds in 1952 and attained Rabbinic Ordina- tion in Israel in 1981. Upon returning to this country he achieved a B.A. (Hon) and M.A. in Hebrew and Jewish Studies. He has also taught in Liver- pool besides being involved in numerous educational programmes in Lon- don. He is married with three children, all married with children of their own, and lives with his wife in Edgware, Middlesex.
