Synopsis
Book 4 in the Real Christianity series, “The Judgment Seat of Christ”, looks closely at a subject which most churches ignore and which is, therefore, very little known or understood. It is the judgment which awaits Christians, at the ‘Judgment Seat of Christ’. On that momentous day our whole lives, from conversion onwards, will be evaluated in a face to face meeting with Jesus Christ Himself. He will either reward and congratulate us, or rebuke us and leave us empty handed. N.B. This is not to be confused with the Great White Throne judgment, for the unsaved, at which they will be condemned. One would imagine that this hugely important issue would be taught thoroughly and be a regular topic of conversation. Yet it is rarely even mentioned in most churches. The author explains what it is and why it matters. In particular, he focuses on what each of us can do now to improve Jesus’ assessment of us and to increase the rewards, and praise, which He gives us on that Day. The author also looks very closely at the criteria for this judgment, and identifies at least 29 different issues on which we will be assessed. If we address these things now, while we have time to change, we can alter the outcome of that judgment. We are meant to see life as a test, and to be motivated by the prospect of rewards. Indeed, that is why Jesus Himself told us about them and urged us to seek for them. So, contrary to what many imagine, we are actually supposed to seek for rewards, and
