Synopsis
My Alphabet is a book that has several desires for the readers. It is written to share a life and cause occasional laughter and deep thought while also inspiring the reader in some fashion. The thing is, the author is writing this story for his sense of closure. Whether or not the reader is able to take something away at the end is of secondary importance because the author wrote this book for himself. My Alphabet is a collection of personal essays written with a narrowed focus to detail a life that has experienced a unique trauma. The author shares his life, good, bad, in between, and everything else all around. The heart of the message after taking the entire book in is barriers and forces will always arise, what matters is how we adapt and the attitude we use while facing the obstacles. My Alphabet is the first written-for-publication piece from this author.
