Sagamore Hill Drawings, Home of Teddy Roosevelt - Plan Book of Drawings Published by Wilkerson & Hughes, LLC 13 Drawings plus covers Wire Bound Cover Stock Card covers with 24 lb natural cream pages 8.5"wide x 11"high This book contains accurate measured drawings of Sagamore Hill, Oyster Bay, NY - the home of Theodore Roosevelt. The estate is currently operated by the US National Park Service and is open to the public. These drawings cover the entire home floor plans, and elevations. These drawings were performed under the guidance of the Historic American Buildings Survey program initiated during the Great Depression to record as many of the historical architectural buildings in the USA as possible. This drawing set is extremely accurate. The book pages contain high resolution black line drawings on natural cream paper. The original large format drawings were scanned with a digital scanner. The original large scale pencil drawings have faded over the years so the scans were weak. Our publishing company developed a unique computer program to restore the line weight and density to make the original drawings look almost as good as the day they were drawn.
