Each group is different depending on the architectural team assigned to document these structures. Some include details of the cast iron railings, doors, windows, Blacksmith hardware, plaster work, etc. These drawings were performed by the Historic American Buildings Survey program initiated during the Great Depression to record historical architectural buildings in the USA. This drawing set is extremely accurate. So accurate, that a few houses with crooked walls are drawn as is. The book pages contain razor sharp, high resolution black line drawings on natural cream paper. The original large format drawings were scanned with a digital scanner. The original large scale pencil drawings have faded over the years so the scans were weak. Our publishing company developed a unique computer program to restore the line weight and density to make the original drawings look almost as good as the day they were drawn.
