About the Author

This is Kenneth Jessen's 17th book on the American West. Jessen is also author of over 1,100 illsutrated articles and is a columnist for the Loveland Reporter-Herald. He acts as a professional tour guide for the Colorado Historical Society, the Estes Park Museum and various senior centers. He is best known for his three volume set, Ghost Towns, Colorado Style but has written on many topics including outlaws and lawmen of the West, outhouses, railroads and regional history.
