About the Author:

Fr. Joseph-Marie Perrin, O.P. was active in the French anti-Nazi resistance during World War II, helping many Jews escape from France until he was imprisoned by the Gestapo in 1943. A close friend of Simone Weil, the famous philosopher and religious seeker, Fr. Perrin is the author of almost thirty books, devoted to enhancing the spiritual life of ordinary Catholics.
