Keith Pieper is a noted internet marketing and business industry expert, although he prefers the label "journalyst" for his unique mix of market and industry research, analysis and writing. Pieper has been an active author and analyst on such topics as branding, affiliate programs, market analysis, ad measurement, direct marketing, pricing, research, rich media, ratings, and online privacy. He is widely known for his commentaries on ClickZ.com. He also has contributed to DM News, and his work has been featured on News.com, AdAge Interactive Daily, Internet.com's Internet Advertising Report, NUA Internet Surveys, and Iconocast. Much of his work has been translated to Portuguese and Spanish.
Pieper's work experience is in the internet data, research and advertising businesses. His most recent experience included market research and strategic analysis for MatchLogic, the advertising technology services subsidiary of Excite@Home. Prior to that he was Chief Idea Officer for Specktrum Idea Technologies, where he developed digital marketing products and consulted with several Fortune 500 clients. Additionally, he was involved in the initial online brand development of AmeriTrade, AccuTrade, and the former eBroker and Ceres Securities brands.
