About the Author:
Dr. Ivons is a Registered Nurse and Naturopathic Physician. Her experiences include critical care and emergency nursing. She currently has a private practice in Monreo, Washington, in family medicine with a homeopathic specialty. Dr. Ivons is a former nursing educator and is current adjunct faculty in the naturopathic medicine program at Bastyr University. Her professional ties include Chairperson for Minor Surgery for the International Naturopathic Medical Board Tests, the NPLEX. When not practicing naturopathy, teaching or precepting students, she may be found enjoying one of her interests, which include scuba diving, surfing and tennis. Her self-confessed avocation is cooking, especially cooking with stuff from her own garden.
