James Milton Hanna was born in North Alabama during the Great Depression. Ever since he was a child, Mr. Hanna loved the outdoors and spent most of his time there. He entered the Air Force and his assignments included Military Scout, Arctic Survival Instructor, Special Investigator and founder of Survival Schools in Labrador and Maine. He retired after 20 years and then taught school for an additional twenty years. Mr. Hanna earned a Masters Degree in Education and Counseling from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Throughout this time, Mr. Hanna worked on the water crabbing and fishing. He resides in Dover, Delaware and still has a passion for the Delaware Bay and all she encompasses. There is always more to learn about this body of water for and for those who make their living there.
