9781930364103: First Empty Your Cup

First Empty Your Cup, based on sociobiology and behavior modification principles, shows us how to strip away all the baggage that we accumulate as a by-product of modern life. With a step-by-step approach, including "awareness exercises" at the end of each chapter, the book demystifies the forces that make us who and what we are by taking esoteric subject matter - creation, primordial energy and evolution - and relating it in laymen's terms to our everyday lives. Organized and methodical, this e-book is more how-to manual than philosophical treatise and is a welcome boon to the mind and soul.

how we got here, why are we here, what makes us tick, how much control do we have over our destiny. At fourteen he left home in Monterey Park, California to explore the world. He worked in the fields in Moapa Junction, Nevada with a short handled hoe and he worked on the freight docks in Detroit Michigan in the freezing cold, and he was in Pusan, Korea within a week after the start of the Korean conflict.

Neil Bezaire lived in Japan 8 years where he met and married Momochan, his wife of over fifty years. The first three of his ten children were born in Japan. He traced Japanese Zen back to its roots in India. After returning to the United States he went to night law school and practiced law for thirty years. In 1989 he left the practice of law practice to pursue his studies in greater depth and when Maria, his eldest daughter, a UCLA philosophy major, gave him western philosophy books, he used these to read expand his studies.
