About the Author

Stephanie Bloom dreamed of being a writer since she was a tiny seed. Deciding that the legal field was not her place to put down professional roots, Stephanie left the practice of law after a handful of years and floated cross-country to Los Angeles where she pursued more creative endeavors as a writer and original content developer for family films, children's books, and interactive media. A Place to Grow is Stephanie's first book for young readers, which was soon followed by The Drummer Who Lost His Beat. Stephanie will always be searching for new places to bloom and grow.
