NEWLY REVISED AND UPDATED! Personal finances are one of the roughest and often toughest jobs a person faces in their lifetime. Couples often fight more over finances than all other topics combined. Now there is a book written specifically for those interested in making the very most of their financial lives -- and doing it from a Christian perspective. Robert Katz, a successful CPA and financial advisor from New Orleans brings his unique talent and skills to the pages of one of the most unique books on the market. Money Came by the House the Other Day is packed with anecdotes, practical tips, solid financial data and education -- all of which is immersed in solid Biblical foundations. Within the covers one will find straight talk on debt and how to avoid it and get rid of it -- creating and using your personal financial balance sheet and income statement -- how to build an emergency fund -- and much, much more. Squarely in the center and theme of the book is the strong and critical role played by the individual's personal relationship with God. This is the message that Bob has shared with audiences on various television and radio programs -- including the popular Joyce Meyer Ministries' Enjoying Everyday Life. There are discussions on tithing and such interesting topics as "God, Caesar and You." If you are looking for information on investing, retirement, saving for education, how to save for and buy a house, and purchasing insurance -- look no further. This book covers it all -- and does so in an enjoyable and highly readable format. UPDATED to include all relevant current tax changes, this is a book that every single person, every married couple, every family should put to use immediately.
