Kennedy’s previous eight books have been eagerly read both in the United States and the United Kingdom as the most throrough treatment of America’s Scots-Irish heritage. Kennedy lives in Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland. He has been a leading Norhtern Ireland journalist for 35 years. He currently serves as senior journalist with the Belfast News Letter, the primary morning newspaper in Northern Ireland and the oldest English newspaper in the world, founded in 1737.
