Carlos R. Messerli is the Founding Executive Director Emeritus of Lutheran Music Program. He had been Professor of Music at Concordia Teachers College (now University), with a tenure of twenty years. He is the co-author of the Manual on the Liturgy of the Lutheran Book of Worship. A lifelong church musician, he served two terms as president of the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians.Review:
