About the Author
The American Alpine Club is the leading organization representing climbers in the United States. The AAJ is written by contributors from around the world. Accidents in North American Mountaineering is written and edited by a team of volunteers, staff, and regional correspondents. Veteran climbing journalist Dougald MacDonald is editor in chief of the annuals.
