About the Author:

Robert Silverberg is a veteran science fiction writer who has won multiple Hugo and Nebula Awards. With a career spanning more than 50 years, he has been included in numerous anthologies and authored many novels, among which are A Time of Changes, Gilgamesh in the Outback, Lord of Darkness, and the Majipoor series, as well as novellas that include Nightwings and Born with the Dead. He has been named a Grand Master by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America organization. He lives in the San Francisco Bay area.
