If urban planners now talk about ecological responsibility and the necessity of green space in the built environment, Burnham deserves much of the credit for showing us the way.
With a new introductory essay by Northwestern professor Carl Smith. Published in collaboration with the Commercial Club of Chicago and the Chicago History Museum.
