About the Author

John Kuhn spent his early years crawling around Perrin, Texas. While some high school teachers told him to go to the office, Sherry Brown told him to write. John did become a writer, but took the long way to get there. After duping Tarleton State University into giving him an English degree, John left Texas in 1995 to work as a volunteer in the Peruvian Andes. While there, he met his beautiful wife Noelia. After he returned from South America in 1997, John began a teaching career that would eventually lead him back to a familiar place--the principal's office.
