From 10 mile races to 50 mile races, and then multi-day races, Rod recounts his steady progression to becoming one of the elite ultra-marathon canoe racers in the country. This year, as he approaches his 50th birthday, Rod faces the greatest challenge his sport has to offer, the longest canoe race in the world - the Yukon 1000.
