Review:

''Scientifically Slim provides the reader with the latest scientific research that validates the effectiveness of the strategies it outlines.''-Denise E. Bruner, MD, FASBP, Past President & Past Chairman of the Board, American Society of Bariatric Physicians

''This book is a must for anyone who has tried to lose weight and failed. It is clear, concise and makes the life changes necessary for a permanent weight change manageable. When you write things down, you own them in a different way, and this book offers the opportunity to keep yourself honest and aware of your thoughts and actions around eating. It includes a combination of healthy living along with healthy eating. The references and guidelines are priceless and will increase your knowledge about your body and why earlier attempts have left you frustrated and sad.''-Vicki Berkus, MD, PhD, CEDS, Past President, International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals

''One of the key ways to weaken the disease we call obesity is through concrete thinking. Scientifically Slim succinctly educates the reader by providing specific answers and proven solutions to this global problem. Validating what works makes it more likely one will make the decision to change, stand by that decision, and be better equipped to succeed.''- --Ralph E. Carson, PhD, RD, Co-author, Harnessing the Healing Power of Fruit (2008)

''Having a proper research-based approach is what sets this book apart. It will guide you toward healthy and lasting weight control using sensible science-based strategies, rather than fads or quick but temporary fixes. This is essential reading for those in the health or fitness industry, or anyone trying to lose weight and keep it off.''-Patrick O.L. Goh, MBBS, MSS (Sports Med) (Hons) Consultant Sports Physician, SportsMed Central, Healthway Medical Group Former Deputy Director of Sports Medicine, Singapore Sports Council Past President, Sports Medicine Association of Singapore

''Today, Scientifically Slim is one of the most powerful tools in a conflicting and confusing world of weight management information. Even though it takes a scientific approach, it is easy to read and understand. Filled with interesting up-to-date findings, this book is a must-read for anyone who wishes to achieve ideal body weight and optimum health.'' ---Alvin W.J. Tan, CFT, CLWC, VibroGym™ Master Trainer
