About the Author:
Lewis D. Eigen has served as a Federal Government appointee, a university professor, the CEO of public and private corporations, some of which have held many Federal contracts including training and technical assistance of Government Officials. He has years of experience, from several perspectives, of the unique problems of the incoming Federal appointees, and has complied his advice and counsel to many in this book. Eigen is the author of The Macmillan Book of Political Quotations and the Editor and Compiler of Eigen s Political & Historical Quotations, the world s largest repository of sourced quotations. He is also the author of many articles and papers on government operations and procedures, In addition he has written speeches for many public officials, appeared on radio and TV and authored 12 textbooks. Eigen lives with his wife Ramona E. F. Arnett in Potomac, Maryland.
