Debra Allenbaugh's story is both like and unlike that of millions of others. After decades of perfectly normal life, running a business and raising a family, she descended abruptly into the deepest pit of addiction - in her case, alcoholism. Ultimately, she lost everything, including herself.
Thanks to a miraculous chance encounter with a stranger, and acts of kindness from him and other "angels in her path" she was able to somehow find the strength to re-establish her life as a mother, grandmother, and productive member of society.
In Angels In My Path, Debra candidly shares her journey - the good, the bad, the failure and ultimate victory - in hopes of inspiring those who have also suffered from sexual molestation and addiction to believe in themselves and realize their immense self-worth and value regardless of their past or present circumstances.
