This book is about God's love for you. His journey with a princess from heaven through life adventures and returning to heaven. You travel with her through wonderful abstract paintings. Mary Leonard's painting style is unusually simple, yet profoundly complex, abstractions of the unknown, yet intuitively known. It allows you to become the observer and share with your child. It is not preachy and has a great platform for the reader to make their own conclusions. Hopefully seeing the great love between the princess and God

At the age of 9 Mary had a vision of worship in heaven. She proceeded to start a youth service at her local church. She played guitar for those services. By age 12 she was shown how to paint in the Spirit through a process called Mariahsachin. Most recently she has been painting during worship for a number of churches and conferences. She has taught others to do the same during retreats and workshops. Many have taken her ten week class or personal intensives to learn the Mariahsachin Practice. She no longer wishes to keep this wonderful form of worship a secret. Spreading the joy of worship and worship painting is her focus. Mary paints in her studio and with other highly acclaimed painters throughout the United States. She has won numerous awards for her paintings and has pieces in public and private collections. Mary Leonard plans to continue publishing books, travel internationally with her art and teach Mariahsachin. Her style is unusually simple, yet profoundly complex, abstractions of the unknown, yet intuitively known.Review:
Mary Leonard's, The Little Princess is a glorious expression of the heart of God beautifully communicated in this little girl s journey. The dreams of children and adults alike will be stirred as each page bursts into a kaleidoscope of color igniting and inspiring the reader...I believe Psalm 45 captures the very essence of this work...truly, this Little Princess is all glorious within! Mary Leonard is one of the artists I respect very much. Her paintings always have the integrity established through her being sincere and truthful to her soul. Her imagination is enormous which seems to be obtained through her spontaneous and almost subconscious act of painting spiritually. Furthermore, she established her unique technique to help put her visions on the canvas. It is certainly my pleasure to have a close relationship with her as an artist and a friend. Mary has a deep love for the Lord; a deep love for painting; and a gift for storytelling through her art. Painting for her is a spiritual experience which is evidenced by her use of light, color, lines and shapes. I would describe her unique style of art as meditation made visual. It is a wonderful book to help teach and converse with your children and grandchildren. Mary Leonard uses the star in a unique way which allows the viewer to become the actor or the observer through choice of prospective, either the inside of the star or the star itself. It is also a great way for the abstract thought of the spiritual to be an interactive journey through each painting. Enjoy it. I did. Barbara Couse Wilson, Artist --Email form Artist
