About the Author:

Michele Bondi Bottesi, M.A., is a mother, award-winning Catholic author, psychologist, publisher at Joseph Karl Publishing, and producer at Apostolate Films. She lives with her family in Michigan and is a parishioner of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Slovak Catholic Church. Michele's first book, Your Personal Apostolate: Accepting and Sharing the Love of God, is a love story for every soul and was published March, 2009. In response to the calling to share the apostolate message with young people, Your Teen Apostolate: Accepting and Sharing the Love of God; and Your Preteen Apostolate: Accepting and Sharing the Love of God; were written with her teen and preteen sons and published December 30, 2009. In June 2010, Your Teen Apostolate and Your Preteen Apostolate were both named Best Children's Books and Best Family Life Books of the Year by the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada. Your Personal Apostolate was awarded third place for a book by a small publisher. Michele's Blog, God is at Work in You! was named Best Blog by an Individual Freelance Member. In September 2010, Your Preteen Apostolate: Accepting and Sharing the Love of God, was named a Purple Dragonfly Book Awards finalist. Placements will be announced in early November. Michele is joyfully pro-life and a member of the American Author's Association, Catholic Writers Guild, the Catholic Press Association, and has been a member of the Couple to Couple League for 21 years. She has had several articles published including Alma Mater~Music From the Vatican. Currently Michele is preparing three books for publication: Our Treasure, God Moments, and the brilliant epic One Man's Journey to Freedom: Escape From Behind the Iron Curtain, by Gene X. Kortsha, which has been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in Letters. Work has also begun on the second apostolate book in the series for adults, teens, and preteens, which focus on the vital role of the Eucharist in every person's mission, the sequel to God Moments, and a series of prayer booklets. Look for Michele in a cameo appearance as a Visitation Sister in the movie Leonie!, to be released in 2010.
