Synopsis
The Blue Max Airmen series is the real story of the German airmen awarded the Pour le Mérite during the Great War. Author Lance J. About the Author
Lance J. Bronnenkant, PhD., has written a number of books on German aviators of WWI, including three volumes of The Imperial German Eagles in World War I - Their Postcards and Pictures, and two previous volumes in the present series on The Blue Max Airmen. Dr. Bronnenkant is Vice President of the League of WWI Aviation Historians and is currently the Managing Editor of the League's quarterly Journal, Over The Front.
