Marie Schilling is a retired educator and pastor who believes we all have the capacity to make a difference in the lives of those around us. With more than fifty years of experience in serving people of all ages, she is now writing for children to help them realize they, too, have the potential for making a difference no matter how young they may be. Her background as a classroom teacher and teacher educator as well as a school administrator, gives her a wealth of material from which to draw . A resident of Clifton Park, New York, Schilling is the mother of two adult children and the grandparent of two adult grandchildren. She and her husband of over fifty-five years enjoy travel, reading, the Boston Red Sox and each other.
