About the Author

STACY DORIS’s previous books of poetry are Kildare, Paramour, Conference, Knot, Cheerleader’s Guide to the World: Council Book, and The Cake Part. She also wrote three books in French and translated three volumes of French poetry into English. She died on January 31, 2012 at her home in San Francisco, where she taught in the Creative Writing Programs at SFSU.
