This book falls close to my heart. As a former stage performer, the girl in this book mirrors my own experiences. .... but how to get it into a book? My own daughter, Gabi is full of spunk. I could picture her skipping out and performing like Gabi Babaroni someday! ... and the name of the book? I found myself calling my daughter Gabi Babaroni one day up in the Poconos. It just stuck. I wanted this book to clearly show a young girl who is her own cheerleader. She uses positive self-talk to push through her nervous energy about performing on the stage for the first time. She has a bit of an oops experience, but pulls through, because after all, the show must go on!About the Author:
