Is there sin that love can’t cover? Lydia Brown has taken just about every wrong turn she could find. When an abortion leaves her overwhelmed by guilt, she turns to drugs to escape her pain. After a single car accident lands her in the hospital facing DUI charges, Lydia is forced to reevaluate her choices. Kevin McGregor has been biding his time since high school when he heard God tell him that Lydia Brown was the woman he would marry. In the aftermath of Lydia’s accident, Kevin must come to grips with the truth about her secret life. While Kevin works to convince himself and God that loving Lydia is a mistake, Lydia struggles to accept the feelings she has for Kevin, though she fears her sin may be too much for anyone to forgive.

About the Author:
Elizabeth Maddrey has been writing since she was five and her mother gave her a blank book with dancing gnomes on the cover. Since then, her stories and writing have matured quite a bit, but the need to write has never left. There have been detours along the way, including a PhD in Computer Science, time working as a programmer, and teaching programming to seventh graders, undergraduate students, and every age in between. She is a voracious reader of nearly every genre and has mastered the art of reading while doing just about anything. She has attended several writers’ conferences and is a member of ACFW. She is the co-author of A is for Airstrip: A Missionary’s Jungle Adventure. WISDOM TO KNOW is her first novel. Elizabeth lives in the suburbs of Washington DC with her husband and two incredibly active little boys. She invites you to interact with her on her website: www.ElizabethMaddrey.com

A fresh and new talent on the scene, God has blessed Elizabeth Maddrey with a gift of expressing God's grace in a fresh, inspirational way. This is a beautiful story of love, forgiveness, and of God's blessings regardless of the situation. It will greatly impact anyone who reads it. --W. Greene

Lydia's life soon tumbles from the perfect life she had and travels a path she never thought she d journey on. Post-abortion grief can strike anywhere, even close to home, when we least expect it. Wisdom to Know offers a compelling example of how the fear of losing the love and respect of others following an abortion can often lead to self-imposed isolation, alienation, and self-destruction. Even more importantly, it is also a tale of why Christians must always be ready to offer understanding and compassion to everyone who lives under the shadow of post-abortion grief and guilt . . . especially those victims who are closest to our hearts. --David C. Reardon, Ph.D., author of The Jericho Plan: Breaking Down the Walls Which Prevent Post-Abortion Healing
