Patti Dann is the founder and owner of Cafe Indigo, a bakery renowned for its delectable vegan cake. Patti's journey into the world of vegan food began with her desire to find a delicious wedding cake for her daughter and soon to be son-in-love. It wasn't long before she realized that the only way to find a vegan cake to meet her exacting standards was to convert an old family recipe. Her success at creating a vegan carrot cake, one that everyone could enjoy, formed the basis for her bakery and the availability of her much sought after carrot, chocolate and lemon poppyseed cakes, now sold at Whole Foods and fine markets across the country under the Cafe Indigo label. During the past 10 years Patti Dann along with her bakery, Cafe Indigo, received multiple awards and accolades.
