Terry L. Lesher lives and farms in extreme northwest Missouri along with his wife Cathy of over 40 years. The area in which they live is known as Farmers City, named for an old mercantile store of the same name, which was once perched on a hill in view of the Lesher farm. They have three children and ten grandchildren. Terry has a Bachelor of Sci-ence degree in secondary education and taught science classes before getting into agriculture. He has been active in his church, serving as council president for three terms, and as a 4-H livestock project leader. He enjoys farming, nature, teaching country dance, and spending time with his grand-children. Terry uses writing as a means of sharing his inner child.
