About the Author

In a past life, Suzanne Samples was definitely a calico cat. In this life, Suzanne teaches English at Appalachian State University and received a Ph.D. in Victorian Literature from Auburn University. She is the winner of the 2020 Prime Number Magazine Award for Short Fiction. Her memoir Frontal Matter: Glue Gone Wild, available from Running Wild Press, received a starred review from Kirkus and was named a Best Book of 2019. She was diagnosed with the deadly brain cancer glioblastoma multiforme at 36.
