There is no doubt that parenting is a roller coaster of an adventure that presents its fair share of challenges. In Parenting the Child You Have, author Aypril Porter uses Human Design to teach readers how to navigate its twists and turns while also creating a closer, richer relationship with their children.
Parenting The Child You Have teaches you how to understand and appreciate your child’s uniqueness, while also seeing how you differ from each other. As a result, parents can be the best version of themselves while helping children stand tall in their knowledge of who they came here to be. Porter’s gentle, supportive wisdom enables children to be seen, heard, and valued for who they truly are, allowing them to navigate the world from a deep inner wisdom.
Parenting The Child You Have will help you find more compassion for your children and all of the people in your life, especially those whose habits drive you crazy!

Aypril Porter is a Human Design 5/2 Projector. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest to Projector and Manifesting Generator parents, she lives with her Projector daughters, Manifestor husband, and Projector mom. She has spent her entire adult life working in service to others as a Medical Assistant, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, stay-at-home mom, and even a scuba instructor, to name a few. She currently serves others through her Life and Human Design Coaching practice, where she helps people live the life their soul desires and bounce back from burnout. She also helps parents to raise their children in a way that allows them to remain true to themselves, so they don’ t have to grow up and have a crisis to remember the truth of who they are.
She believes that we can create a world where people feel seen, heard, loved, and valued for being themselves – one where we can embrace who we authentically are and allow others to do the same. She believes that when we feel seen for who we are, we have more compassion for each other and understanding for the people who challenge us most. She is passionate about giving you the tools to develop a new life Story that empowers you to live your truth and raise your children to do the same. Having personally shifted relationships with family members who always felt difficult to her by seeing them through the lens of Human Design, she is a huge advocate of the freedom found within this system. She believes that you can change ancestral patterns by utilizing Human Design to see beyond the emotional responses to the truth of who you and your loved ones are. She also believes that you can stop the wounds of childhood from being passed onto future generations by showing up and doing the work of staying curious about what is possible.
Aypril enjoys working with clients of all ages. She is available for Human Design Sessions, Human Design Parent Coaching, Human Design Life Coaching, and classes. You can find her at www.ayprilporter.com.
