Melanie Hendricks, Henry Wang, and Jeff Dunnihoo all attended school together in Arlington, Texas, during the era of NASA's Viking and Columbia missions (and the "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" movie). They later reconnected with the goal of finishing a story that Melanie had started writing as a young girl.


Today, Melanie serves as the CEO of Information Technology Staffing, LLC, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is highly active within the Cybersecurity community, contributing as a speaker, supporter, and sponsor for organizations such as ISSA, ISACA, IIA, BSides, Infragard, and the Information Warfare Summit. Her current role involves collaborating with clients both locally and across the United States to place candidates in various technology-focused positions.

About the Authors

Melanie Hendricks is the Chief Executive Officer of Information Technology Staffing, LLC based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She has over 13 years' experience in Technology Staffing and over 20 in Technology Corporate Sales. She is very active in the Cybersecurity community & is been a speaker, supporter, or sponsor for the ISSA, ISACA, IIA, BSides, Infragard, & IWS (Information Warfare Summit). She currently works with clients locally & all over the US to place candidates in a variety of technology-centric positions. She also works with individuals from CIO's to recent grads to fine tune their resumes, interviewing skills, & career paths.

Henry Wang has been an avid enthusiast of form and design from his early years, most recently expressing it through the craft of building and customizing motorcycles in his spare time. Born in Taiwan, his family immigrated to Texas, where he grew up. In true international fashion, Henry met his wife Meilute in London, and together they now reside in Phoenix, Arizona where they are raising their son, Tristan.

Jeffrey C. Dunnihoo is an electrical engineer with over 30 years of experience in semiconductor and system development. A young computer nerd in the early days of 8-bit home-brew computers and Fortran mainframes, Jeff has been awarded several patents and co-authored research papers and the "System Level ESD Co-Design" textbook. Jeff created SOIC & SOT to help children discover the "nuts-and-volts" within their toys and tablets, and not just play with them, but experience the adventure of what goes on inside. Jeff is from Texas. He's a rancher, classic car nut, writer of software and fiction (never at the same time), builder, sculptor, inventor and most of all, a husband and dad.Jeff's colorization of Henry Wang's pencil illustrations in LGK is his first professional inking effort, in addition to editing and producing the book.
